Joshua is the Managing Editor for the Race to the Bottom, he is a third-year law student at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. Joshua is pursuing a certificate in Corporate and Commercial Law and plans to practice in this area upon earning his JD. Prior to law school, Joshua worked for five years within Microsoft’s Intellectual Property Group as a mergers and acquisitions paralegal.

He served as the Race to the Bottom’s Technology Editor during his 2L year and has served on the board of both the Business Law Society and the Privacy Law Society. Additionally, He was a student attorney in the Community Economic Development Clinic, where he provided free legal aid to non-profits and small businesses in the Denver community.

Joshua grew up in Mount Vernon, Washington and graduated from Gonzaga University in 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and History with minors in Criminal Justice and Women’s and Gender Studies.

Outside of law school, Joshua enjoys spending time with his wife and dog, as well as golfing, cycling, and playing basketball.
